Just a few minutes from the campsite
and our mobile-home
lies the beautiful waterfront village
of Port Grimaud,
an attractive, lively and picturesque village
with colourful provençal houses
backing onto a series of waterways
lined with magnificent yachts.
The little village Port Grimaud
(often referred to as “The Little Venice
of the Côte d´Azur”) is built on a network
of canals, on which the so-called
“Coches d´Eau” represent the public means
of transport..
Thursday and Sunday morning
is a “Provençale” market in Port Grimaud,
a ‘must’ for anyone visiting the area!
Soak up the atmosphere and sample;
fresh fruits, vegetables,
fish and aromatic local herbs,
you will also find all kinds
of souvenirs and local crafts.
In the evening you can watch in Port Grimaud
the French people playing “Boules”
or unwind in one of the numerous restaurants
or pavement cafés.
An evening stroll through Port Grimaud
will certainly leave you with an impression,
you are unlikely to forget!
